What to Expect

There’s something special about coming home.

It’s that feeling you get when you pull into the driveway after being away. The porch light is on. The door is open. Familiar voices and warm laughter remind you that you belong. Home is where you’re welcomed just as you are—where you’re known, loved, and accepted.

When you come to worship with us at Silver Point Baptist Church, expect to feel like you’ve come home.

From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll experience a family-like atmosphere where people truly care about one another. Our church is made up of real people who love the Lord and love each other. You’ll be greeted with friendly smiles, kind handshakes, open hearts, and lots of hugs. You’ll hear laughter in the halls and see relationships being built that last far beyond Sunday morning.

In our Sunday School classes and small groups, expect open and honest conversations centered on God’s Word. We believe in growing together—sharing life, praying for one another, and encouraging each other in faith. This is a place where you don’t have to pretend. You can be yourself, and you’ll be met with grace, truth, and love.

On Wednesday nights at Silver Point, expect fellowship, food, and fun. Our Wednesday night suppers bring our church family together around the table, while our children and youth programs fill the building with energy and excitement. It’s a joyful time of learning, laughter, and growing together across generations.

During our Sunday worship services, you’ll experience Christ-centered preaching, heartfelt worship, and a spirit of reverence and joy. Our desire is to honor God in everything we do and to help every person grow in their walk with Jesus Christ.

Whether you’re coming for the first time or returning after some time away, you’ll find a place where you are valued and needed. There’s no dress code—come as you are. There’s no pressure—just an invitation to worship, learn, and belong.

At Silver Point Baptist Church, we believe church is more than a building. It’s a family. It’s a refuge. It’s a place to grow.

So when you come to worship with us, expect more than just a service.

Expect to find family.
Expect to find encouragement.
Expect to find hope.
Expect to find purpose.
Expect to grow in your faith.

And expect much, much more when you come home.

We would love for you to join us on Sundays at 10:00 AM and on Wednesday evenings. Your seat is waiting, and your church family is ready to welcome you home.
